Adrienne Augusta Palmer-Risk "Boots" age 89 passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 31, 2023, in Dewey, Arizona.  She was born in Yuma, Arizona on June 16, 1934.  She was the eldest of 3 children of Mario and Vesta Ruby. She was lovingly known as "Boots" by many, a nickname given to her as she was born so small, she could be placed in one of her dad's boots.  She was proceeded in death by her husband's Jason D Palmer and Richard Risk, Jason Palmer II (son) and Julie Fry (daughter). She is survived by Stephen & Robin Palmer (son & daughter in-law), and Becky Palmer (daughter in-law).

Boots was blessed with a beautiful, loving, and large family.  8 grandchildren Joshua, Steffen, Joseph, Jason III, Tara, Shane, Kyle & Loren. 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Boots lived and spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends in Yuma and Parks, AZ and El Cajon, CA.  She enjoyed bar-b-ques at home with family and friends, a good cabernet, and playing cards or dominos.  The card and domino games always ended in a argument. She and her family shared many memories of fishing with family in the waters near Pocatello, Idaho, Lake Mary, and Lake Powell.  Growing up in Yuma with her aunts, uncles, and cousins provided many great stories.  She fondly shared those stories of growing up in Yuma, and reminisced about the fun had with her brothers, cousins, and friends, including the dips in the canals to cool off.  She dreamed of writing a book, however she made a choice to spend her time with family and friends.  Boots (wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma, and friend) will be missed, but her legacy will continue living on through the lives of her loving family and friends.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in memory of Adrienne Augusta Palmer-Risk "Boots" to a charitable foundation of your choice.
