Albert "Al" Edwin Weimaster Jr., 65, of Flagstaff passed away March 4, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer.  He was born December 2, 1944 in Russell, Kansas to Albert Sr. and Vera Brock Weimaster.


Al married Cynthia Kilian August 20, 1965; together they raised 2 children, Michael Shawn and Kimberly Renee.  He has lived in Flagstaff for the past 20 years moving form Russell, Kansas.  Al owned and ran several businesses in Russell, and later worked for Baker Brothers Flooring and most recently Home Depot.  He truly enjoyed working for Home Depot, a good hand of cards which he was good at.  He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was really looking forward to returning to work at Home Depot where he had many friendships.

He is survived by his mother Vera Weimaster of Flagstaff; son Michael Weimaster and his wife Lisa of Munds Park, his daughter Kimberly Ihnat of Casa Grande grandchildren Cody Weimaster and Roan Ihnat.


Al was preceded in death by his father Albert Edwin Weimaster Sr. and his brother Gerald Weimaster.


A Celebration of Al's Life will be held 11 am, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel.
