Alton "Jack" Pulliam, 84, of Flagstaff passed away June 23, 2011 peacefully at his home. He was born August 24, 1926 in Childress, Texas to Estal and Dollie Pulliam. Jack proudly served in the United Stated Navy during WWII. The then worked as a machinist working on Aircraft. In 1992 their home was completed and he and his wife June moved to the Kachina Village, Flagstaff, AZ. Jack is known as a family man and people person. He loved the times shared with his family. He was a spiritual leader in his community and was always reaching out and caring for others. He also enjoyed passing the time gardening.

Jack is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, June; children Sally Jo O'Brien, Tammy Lynn Barnes, and Jacquelyn Roxanne Pulliam; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Timothy James Pulliam.

A visitation will be Tuesday morning form 8:30 to 9:30 at the Norvel Owens Mortuary; Graveside services will follow at the Citizens Cemetery, Veteran's Section at 10 am.
