Obituary

Amo Lee Gobble, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandma passed away surrounded by her family, September 13, 2025 at the age of 80.

Born on November 28th, 1944, in Parie Grove, Arkansas, to Rose and Herman Mantooth.

As a pastor's wife and missionary, she faithfully supported her husband, John, throughout their 65 years of loving marriage. Together they pastored churches in Teesto, Ajo, Cameron and Flagstaff. It was outside of Flagstaff that they built a church in the community of Winona.

She had many talents and hobbies. She was known as skilled seamstress, and cake decorator for weddings and birthdays and other special occasions. Amo enjoyed making stained glass.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband John, her daughter Tina, and her son Michael. She is survived by her daughter Vonceil Sanchez and her son James (Brandie) Gobble, all from Flagstaff. She has 6 grandchildren, Theresa, Sarah, Christopher Anthony, Bailey and Morgan. Three great grandchildren, Gunner, Everleigh and Liam.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm on September 19th, 2025, at Norvel Owens's Mortuary.
