Angelene Lee Simmons of Flagstaff passed away while sleeping on September 11, 2008. She was born in Flagstaff on June 6, 2008 and was a precious gift to her parents Richard and Christina Simmons. The joy of her presence was shared by family, friends and everyone she met.

Angelene will be remembered for her innocence, and the joy those around her got watching her as she was drawn to the bright colors and activity around her. We will cherish the many memories she created each day as she wiggled her entire body and made faces that were adored by anyone near her. As her Grandpa Simmons quickly learned, she only complained when she really needed attention.

Angelene is survived by her parents, grandparents Richard and Lisa Simmons of Millington, Tennessee and Robert and Virginia Coryell of Flagstaff; Aunt Emily Simmons, Uncle Brian Coryell (Odessa), Cousin Andrew Coryell, great grandparents Harry and Velta Simmons, William A. and Ollie Ree Marsh, Virginia and Luke Vania and Grace Farney.

Her pure and gentle spirit will be with us always.

There will be an informal gathering of family and friends to celebrate Angelene's memory at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at The Arboretum at Flagstaff.
