Ann Virginia Scamp, 64, of Overgaard, passed away on July 31, 2008. She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on December 30, 1943 to Hank and Anna Teresa Carriere. Ann enjoyed traveling. She was active in her community serving as a volunteer with the Navajo County Sherriff's Posse, the Lions Club, the Agave House in Heber, and Meals on Wheels in both California and in Heber.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Scamp 5 years earlier. She is survived by her daughter Denise Stephen of Overgaard, her son Warren Scamp of Overgaard, three grandchildren: Justin Scamp, Jeremy Stephen, and Jaydon Stephen, her sister Linda Neal (Chris Blain) of Overgaard and her brother Gene Carrier of Utah.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 10th at noon in the American Legion-Post 86, Heber, Arizona.
