Aristeo G. Jaramillo, also known as a devoted husband for 69 years, Art, Dad, Daddy, Tata, Tio, Brother was 93 years old when he took Jesus' hand and entered the pearly gates of heaven to walk the streets of gold and be reunited with his beautiful wife, Nellie who preceded him in eternal glory.

Before entering heaven, Aristeo resided in Flagstaff, AZ with his youngest daughter Diana (Max) and their children.

Aristeo was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord, a great dad and role model not only to his 11 kids, their spouses, his grandkids, great grandkids, but also within the Church as a Deacon and in the community to his friends and extended family.  He was a loving man who touched many lives in a positive way.  He was very generous and giving and the type of helping man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Every one of his children are so thankful and proud that each was lucky enough to be his son/daughter, and most thankful that he followed Christ as Lord and Savior and led his entire family to do the same.

Aristeo served in the United States Army and finished a long career as a civil service employee. He was a great provider and cared for his family with a strong love and special relationship with each one.

Aristeo is survived by ten of his 11 children; Phil (Jackie), Janet (Don Williams), Barbara (Richard Sandoval), Elaine (John Slater), Eva, Theresa (Damon Romero), Anthony (Paula), John (Sandy), Diana (Max Marcilla), Adam (Gina) Tommy (preceded him in heaven); he had 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, along with their spouses and families. Aristeo and his beloved wife are a part of 81 immediate family members. His legacy will live on with his family, friends and those who were blessed to know him.

Many were touched by his kindness leading to a friendship.  Aristeo had a love for people and conversation, as well as a unique "gift of gab"; he could talk to anyone about anything especially the weather, which is a fond memory for his children.  We will miss being reminded that he had 30 more years to work, that his birthday was coming up soon no matter what time of year it was, how he walked to school for five miles in the snow, and always reminded us to look under the hood of our car/truck; check the oil and tires and keep them clean!

Over nine decades on this earth, he left his mark on those he knew; the magnitude of that cannot and will not be forgotten. He will be missed greatly and remain in our hearts forever.
