Aurora B. Joe

Aurora B. Joe, 84, of Flagstaff, Arizona passed away on September 19, 2006. Aurora was born in Sandsprings, Arizona to Hosteen T. and Adson Bah Begay. Aurora enjoyed cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching the Phoenix Suns, and Chuck Norris movies. She was also a life long rug weaver.

Aurora is preceded in death by her parents Hosteen and Adson Begay; husband, Danny Joe; sons, Larry Joe McCabe and Kee Y. White; brothers, Raymond Begay and Johnny Begay; sisters, Edna Muffet, Gene Meyers and Helen Begay.

Aurora is survived by her daughters Angie Slim, Lillie Esson, Evelyn McCabe, Marie (Larry) Bia, and Dorthy Joe (Steve) Keams; 23 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

There will be a Public Visitation on Friday, September 22, 2006 from 6-8 PM at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10 AM at Flagstaff Federated Community Church, 400 W. Aspen Ave., with burial to follow at Citizens Cemetery.
