Berlyn Roy Yazzie Sr., 65, of Flagstaff passed away April 11, 2013. Berlyn was born October 22, 1947 to Bruce and Etta Yazzie in Ganado Arizona. He grew up in Hard Rock, AZ. With a Bachelors and Masters degrees from NAU, he taught school at Tuba City Boarding School. He was the principal at Dilkon and Leupp Schools. He started a second career in Flagstaff as an allstate insurance agent. He enjoyed his leisure time to fishing and being with friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Etta Yazzie and two brothers Bruce Yazzie Jr. and Leonard Begay. He is survived by his wife Susan Dvorak sons Anslem Yazzie, Berlyn Yazzie Jr. and Ryan Yazzie. Services will be Monday April 15th 2pm at Christ Church of Flagstaff with burial to follow at Citizens Cemetery.
