Betsy Wilhemina Johnson passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was born to Isaac and Edwina Johnson on December 10, 1953 in Foxworth, Mississippi. Her hobbies included drawing and fishing, which she loved to do as often as possible.

She is survived by her mother, Edwina, And brother Robert (Michelle), Cartee (Nancy), and Bernard (Paulette), Cynthia Black, Mary Burnett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Isaac Johnson, brother Julius and Joe Johnson, sister Annie Lee Newson, Grandfather John L. Williams, and Grandmother Letha Mingo.

Visitation will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 10 O'clock MST, also at the mortuary. Pastor Ben Coleman will officiate services. Due to Covid restrictions, the event is limited to family, but will be livestreamed on the mortuary's Facebook page, for those who are unable to attend.
