Mr. Billy Ray Joyce went to be home with his parents and two brothers June 19, 2014. Billy "Wild Bill" was born August 21, 1960 to Robert Sr. and Henrietta Joyce. Billy attended Kinsey & South Beaver Elementary, Flagstaff Junior High and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1978.
In 1988 Billy wed his longtime friend and love Debbie Johns. Through this union came their three children: Robert, Crystal, and Zeno.
Billy was the ultimate outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching westerns and singing country songs.
Left to honor Billy's memory are his wife Debbie, 3 children, Robert, Crystal, & Zeno, two grandchildren: Izriel, Islee; aunts Lucille Winsley and Corrine Irving of Flagstaff and Mary Lee Norwood of Mississippi; siblings Mattie Watkins of Louisiana, Robert (Wanda) of Washington, James (Sue) of Cottonwood, Debbie (Carlton) of Flagstaff and Arleisa of Phoenix; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceding Billy in death are his parents, Robert Sr. & Henrietta Joyce, and his two brothers Joe and Stanley.
The family of Billy Joyce acknowledges and appreciates the concern and kindness, along with flowers, cards and loving words at this difficult time. Thank you.
A visitation will take place Friday, June 27, 2014 from 10:00 to noon, funeral services will follow at noon, both at Christ's Church of Flagstaff, 3475 E. Soliere Ave, Flagstaff, AZ. Condolences may be left for the family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
