Benjamin Jon "BJ" Carlson passed away at home on July 24, 2005. He was born in Tucson to Jon and Sally Carlson on November 9, 1980. He was 24. BJ was studying mechanical engineering at Northern Arizona University where he had also worked in the disabilities office on campus. BJ will be remembered as a whole hearted practical joker with a clever sense of humor who enjoyed boating at Lake Powell, was an avid fan of baseball, basketball and other athletics, and appreciated his collection of music. BJ was motivated and in the process of starting his own home health care service. BJ is survived by his parents Jon and Sally Carlson, brother Keith, sister Becky, grandmother Dorothy Carlson, faithful New Foundland companion "Tank", several aunts, uncles, cousins, cadre of dear friends, and dedicated caregivers.



Visitation and viewing will be held Wednesday July 27 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Norvel Owens Mortuary of Flagstaff, 914 East Route 66 followed by a Celebration of Life Service and reception at the Radisson Woodlands Hotel, 1175 W. Route 66 at 4:00 p.m. on the same day. Arrangements entrusted to Norvel Owens Mortuary.
