Brian Tyler O'Connor left this world unexpectedly on May 29, 2017. Heaven gained a very special angel.
Brian was born in Flagstaff on May 2, 2003. He attended Sinagua Middle School and just graduated from eighth grade. Brian was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish with his Dad. He made his first archery kill this year and tagged his first turkey. As much as he loved hunting, fishing was his passion. It was his favorite thing to do with his friends and family especially his big sister Becca. He loved to kayak with his mom and be anywhere near water. Brian had many family members and friends that helped foster his love for the outdoors. He wanted to be a police officer someday like his big brother Mike. Brian had a big heart, especially for his family and was loved and adored by many. This year he had the great joy of becoming an Uncle. Brian's light shined bright in this world and he will be dearly missed.
Brian is survived by his Mother, Perrie O'Connor, his Father Sean O'Connor, a sister Becca Hansen, a brother Mike Hansen (Chelsea), a nephew Brantley Hansen, grandparents Mary Lou and John Cockrell, grandfather Tom O'Connor, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Charlyne O'Connor.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 6th at Norvel Owens Mortuary in Flagstaff from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Upper Lake Mary recreation area at 1 p.m. If you are able, please bring a dish to share. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you respectfully make a donation in Brian's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Memorial Donation at www.JDRF.org.
