Bruce Leo Richeson died at his care home on October 16th in Peoria, Arizona, due to complications following Alzheimer's disease. He was 69.
Bruce was born in Boone, Iowa to his parents Lavonne and Perry Richeson. He had a brother and a sister. He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother and Brother. He stayed in Iowa through two years of college then joined the Air Force. He was stationed in Tucson, Arizona with his first wife Chris Lindmark. They had two daughters. He was a dedicated bank manager after his brief time in the Air Force.
He then moved to Phoenix and met his current wife Judy. It is here that he enjoyed many years until his diagnosis.
Bruce was charismatic, charming, funny and kind. He always made people smile, and was the center of attention. He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and spending time with his loved ones and friends.
Bruce is survived by his wife Judy, his daughters Julie and Robin, his four grandchildren, and his sister Laura and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday October 23rd at 2:00 PM at the Flagstaff Citizens Cemetery. A memorial celebration will be held on October 28, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 PM. For information regarding the memorial contact 480-821-5525. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bruce's life.
