Carlton Lee Rich Haynes, 16, of Flagstaff passed away September 5, 2009. He was born in Phoenix November 1, 1992 to Daneel Hans and Harold Hayes. As a baby his family moved to Flagstaff where he attended DeMiguel School before moving to Georgia at the age of 7. He returned to Flagstaff last year.

Carlton was a smart kid. He loved to read, surf the internet and playing video games. He also enjoyed disc golf, watching movies, Japanese martial arts and animals.

He is survived by his mother Daneel Hans, step-dad Michael A. Larsen, Grandmothers Alice Paula Sullivan and Karen Adele Hans and grandpa Aaron Peters. He is also survived by Foster Parents Bruce and Dee Whitlow and foster brother and best friend Dylan Whitlow from Georgia his cousin Stephanie, aunt Janell and uncle Will Pierce, uncle Kirby and aunt Fran Hans, and his dogs Munchie and Alice.

A memorial service will be 10 am Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Bible Baptist Church, 604 West Aspen, 2 blocks west of the Library.
