Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Alan Butler, 49, of Flagstaff passed away March 1, 2010 at his home of an apparent Heart Attack. He was born April 21, 1960 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Eugene and Margareta Butin Butler.

Charles graduated from Coconino High School in 1978. He devoted his life to serving the Flagstaff community as a Police Officer and then as a Fire Fighter for 22 years. He was instrumental in communications for the Flagstaff Fire Department. He was a Division Communications Leader for a Federal Type 2 Incident Management Team. His Radio call sign was KAZTWW.

He was interested in all and any type of communications. He Coached City League Basketball and enjoyed Riding Quads. He also enjoyed working in his yard and his Terriers.

Charles is survived by his son Brandon Butler, daughter Tarah Butler-Scrafano and her husband Jared; life long companion and former wife Tami Butler; father Gene Butler and sister Andrea Heil.

A Celebration Of His Life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Northland Christian Assembly, 1715 W. University Ave.
