With Respect to Almighty God for His Wisdom and Grace, it is with Infinite Sadness that we announce the death of our precious daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Chelsea Ann Voigt, 38, who died on July 16, 2026.
Chelsea leaves behind heartfelt memories of Family gatherings where her ringing laughter warmed the hearts of everyone present. She loved to play family Bingo. She loved to hike in the mountains and in the desert. She loved to hear the daily and often zany exploits of family members, recounted with joy and humor. She cheered all who crossed her path.
Chelsea was an accomplished pianist, who created her own songs and played them with gusto. She also mastered the flute and the oboe. She loved to model cars and trucks, and she left behind hundreds.
She loved animals, and she took many trips to the wildlife zoo in Phoenix, which gave her much happiness. She had a warm place in her heart for the family dogs she grew up with: Susie, Jed, Sadie, Gracie and Sophie. She took up felting, the art of creating animals from wool fiber, and she gave away many to family, friends, and co-workers.
In the workplace, Chelsea passed the Arizona state requirements to be a Court Reporter and worked for the Superior Court in Kingman, AZ, where she is remembered fondly by her co-workers, judges, and friends.
Chelsea was a kind person and befriended many, who like her, sometimes found Life an overwhelming experience. She is remembered as a sweet, gracious, loving Soul who now resides in the enfolding arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Chelsea leaves behind her parents, Bruce and Carolyn Voigt, brothers Brad and Brent, niece Amelia, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
A memorial service for Chelsea is planned for September 5, 2026 at 10:00am in the LDS Church building at 4165 S Lake Mary Rd, Flagstaff, AZ.
