Cherlyn Faye Chumbley "Charlie" Thomas, 63 of Ash Fork, passed away Sunday October 28, 2007 in Flagstaff. She was born April 14, 1944 in Phoenix, AZ to Jackie and Hilda Chumbley.
She lived all of her life in Arizona living in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Williams and for the past eleven years Ash Fork. She was a homemaker, loving wife of 39 years and wonderful mother. She enjoyed her time Granny Square Knitting, listening to country music and watching videos. She especially enjoyed spending time and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Williams Ward.
She is survived by William R. Thomas Jr. of Ash Fork, son William E. Thomas of Phoenix, daughter Pamela D. Chavez of St. Johns, Arizona and three grandchildren and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Ash Fork Cemetery, Ash Fork, Arizona.
