On Friday, January 24, 2020, Chico Tomas Dougi, loving son, brother, and father of three children and two grandchildren, passed away at the age of 43.

Chico was born January 12, 1977 in Flagstaff, Az to Tomas and Sylvia Dougi.  He was an awesome 'heavy equipment operator' and was working in North Dakota at the time of his death.  When he wasn't working, he mostly enjoyed spending quality time with family, friends and his two dogs of whom he loved dearly.  He was a great cook and loved to barbeque.  He enjoyed watching football and the Arizona Cardinals.

Chico had an effect on so many people and touched many lives.  He was such a righteous man and told it like it was.  He was known for his hilarious, animated personality which brought so much laughter and joy.  There isn't a person he knew that doesn't have a story to share about his unbelievable life experiences.  He had a powerful energy and will be deeply missed.

Chico was preceded in death by his father, Tomas and sister, Iona.  He is survived by his mother, Sylvia, three daughters, Miranda, Gabriela, Anastacia, two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Elias, three brothers, Benitez (Sarah), Pancho, Carlos (Trista), sister, Elisia, grandmother, Alice Herrera and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Norvel Owens Mortuary located at 914 East Route 66, Flagstaff, Az 86001.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
