Obituary

Christina Contryman, 33, lost her battle with melanoma cancer on March 18, 2012.

She was a kind, soft, soul with a huge heart. In this life she was a lover of music, cats, naps, silver beads, old maps and strange movies. Christina's creativity was evident in all areas of her life. She wrote extensively during these last four years and enjoyed creating beautiful things. Her friends were many and constant.

She studied Sociology and Archeology at the University of Puget Sound, working on a "dig" in Israel during her undergraduate years. By trade, she was an accountant with Coconino Federal Credit Union where she found joy in making spreadsheets sing and accounts balance.

At Trinity Heights she studied, prayed, loved, made music with the 11:00 Worship Team and found soul friends.

We would like to thank those who kept us in their prayers and the doctors and nurses whose wisdom gave us more time with her. There were cooks, snow shovelers, movers, cleaners, cat sitters, shoppers, and visitors who supported her these last 4 years. Also, our thanks go to The American Cancer Society and Northland Hospice.

She will be especially missed by Isabeau, her kitty, Michelle, her sister, Chris, Nate, Alec, Bailey and by John and Kathy, her mom. We are grateful for the time we had with her.

There will be a celebration of Christina's life at Trinity Heights on Saturday, March 24, at 3:00.

And we thank God that she is now free to sing and dance whenever she chooses.
