Christopher Phillip Burchett

Christopher Phillip Burchett, 22, of Flagstaff passed accidentally at Navajo Falls, Supi, Arizona on March 21st. Chris was born on October 11, 1984 in Organ City, OR. He grew up in Portland, OR before moving to Las Vegas to graduate from Chaparral High School. After graduating from high school he moved to Flagstaff where he joined the Army National Guard Reserve. He was attending NAU, studying education as he wanted to be a youth minister. Chris enjoyed several ministries where he worked with Christ Church of Flagstaff. He was a supporter of the Needs Project helping others who had needs before himself. Chris played the guitar and helped coach a youth basketball team. He also worked with Flagstaff School District with the after hours program.

Chris is survived by his parents Clifford and Theresa Dougherty.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday March 28th at 3 PM at Christ Church of Flagstaff.
