Cletis Ronald Boan Jr., 81, of Williams passed away October 10, 2008. He was born in Raton, New Mexico to Cletis Ronald SR. and Helen Hutton Boan on July 25, 1927.

In 1949 he joined the United Sates Navy, following his discharge in 1954 he lived and raised his family in Long Beach, California. He remained there for 40 years until retiring to Williams in 1991 where he resumed his love of golf and became a volunteer sheriff. He was also enjoyed being a Mason for 50 years.

Mr Baon was proceeded in death by his wife Shirley J. Boan. His is survived by Ron (Pam), Debbie (Randy) and son Jim, Grandchildren Kelly, Lindsey, and Jaime., Brother-in-law, Jim and Georgia Taylor.

In lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made to American Legion Post #3, Service Office Account, 204 W. Birch St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.

Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, October 23rd at Canyon Chapel, 720 W. Sheridan in Williams.
