Connie Lee Baum age 57 of Flagstaff, Passed away Surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 3 ^rd 2019, at her Flagstaff home.

Connie Lee Baum, Born to Ferris Lloyd and Bridgett Barney Baum on October 11 1962 in Evanston Wyoming. She lived there with her parents until they moved to Salt Lake City Utah Approximately Two years later. After giving birth to Connie's Brother, Joseph Ray Baum, the family moved to the small town of Duchesne Utah. It was there that her mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and because of that Connie and her brother moved in with their Uncle Brad and Aunt Beth, where they resided until moving to Nevada with their father in 1968. Later Connie went to live with her Aunt Madge in Flagstaff Arizona and her brother Ray joined her shortly afterwards.  At the age of 12 Connie and her brother moved in with Corena Beth Gentry. Beth (mom) raised Connie until she turned 18 and moved out on her own.

Connie worked for a number of places in and around the Flagstaff area like Rite Aid and Northern Arizona Ice Company. Later Connie furthered her education by attending Northern Arizona Institute of Technology where she graduated at the top of her class in Computer Technology and Accounting. Having learned a new trade Connie got a job working for Total Grand Rental as there office manager where she worked for many years.

On July 15 1995 Connie Married he husband Thomas Wheeler who had two children of his own from his first wife, Michael and Cody Wheeler.  After trying and not being able to have children of their own, Connie and her husband adopted their first of four adopted children, Bridgett Haylee Wheeler which was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 and passed away shortly after. In 2005 and after, Connie and her husband was given three more opportunities to adopt the three children that she has raised, Danny Michael Wheeler being the oldest, Kaylee Trishelle Wheeler, the middle child and Katlynn Korena Wheeler the youngest.

Connie was diagnosed with Cancer  in 2011, and fought it with all she had for 8 long years, trying to last long enough to see her children graduate, get married and have children of their own. Unfortunately, having gone through many rounds of chemotherapy, Radiation and major surgeries Connie passed away survived by her five children, Michael, Cody, Danny, Kaylee and Katlynn, Brother Ray, her father Bud and numerous friends that she considered family.

Funeral Services will be Friday, November 8 2019 at 10 am at the Flagstaff Linda Vista Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A Visitation will be held from 9-10 am just prior to the service. Immediately afterwards, Connie will be transported to the Strawberry Cemetery in Utah, where we will hold the grave dedication and burial. she will be buried next to family at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 9, 2019.
