Consuelo M. Castanon, 75, of Winslow, Arizona passed away September 18, 2007 at the Olivia White Hospice House in Flagstaff. She was born October 8, 1931 in Winslow, Arizona to Jose R. Munoz and Benita Sanchez Munoz. She graduated from Winslow High school in 1951 and then attended Secretarial School in El Paso, TX. She returned home and worked for Mrs. Nagel, and the Public Market. She married Jose Castanon April 1961, and they moved to California, where she worked for Montgomery Ward for 40 years. After her husbands death she returned home to Winslow. She enjoyed cooking, and reading.

Mrs. Castanon is survived by her sons Joe Castanon Jr of Sunnyvale, CA and David Castanon of Las Vegas, NV. Her brothers Jose A. Munoz of Winslow, AZ and Ruben S. Munoz of Parker, AZ and two grandchildren.

Rosary will be held Saturday morning 9:30 at St Josephs Catholic Church with Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Desert View Cemetery, Winslow, Arizona.
