Corinne J. Webber 90, of Flagstaff passed away September 27th. Corinne was born to Joseph and Edna Marcoux in Grand Isle, Maine on May 8, 1917. Corinne Graduated from Madawaska (teacher) Training School in 1934 and taught school until she moved to Boston where she met and eventually married Donald M. Webber on 10/10/37. Her four children were born in Boston. The family moved to the Los Angeles area in 1949 for health reasons. She then worked as a copy editor for a bank printing company until she retired in 1980. While in California she was active in her Catholic church by teaching religious education and was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She remained in California until 1998 when she moved to Flagstaff to be nearer to family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald M. Webber and son, Russell J. Webber. Surviving family include children Donald M. (Carolyn) Webber, Jr. from Redmond, WA, Arthur J. Webber from Flagstaff, Corinne (Chris) Bavasi, Flagstaff and daughter-in-law Annette Webber from Visalia, CA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Webber was a devoted mother, a legendary French Canadian cook, an entertainer along with her husband, and took great pleasure in the simple things in life including the great outdoors, nature hikes in the mountains and planting her beloved flowers. Her devotion to her Catholic faith was paramount in her life. She touched the lives of those she knew in a most endearing way.
