Dale H
Wirth
May 15, 1940 — Dec 12, 2025
Dale H. Wirth passed away at home on December 12, 2025 at the age of 85 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Dale was born in Dallas, Wisconsin to Paul and Marion Wirth. Dale was the third of four children, Gerald, Ralph, Dale and his sister Marilyn. He attended school in Prairie Farm before later moving to Eau Claire. After graduating, he found work at the hospital, where his determination to build a good and prosperous life eventually led him to pursue a career in radiology and move to Flagstaff, Arizona in 1960. He then began his career as an X-Ray technician at Flagstaff Hospital. After several years in healthcare, he changed professions and became a general contractor. Dale took great pride in his work and went on to build many beautiful custom homes throughout the Flagstaff area.
Dale was first married to Karleen Wirth and together had four children: Gregory, Daniel, Karoline and Steven. Karleen preceded him in death.
He married Marilyn Rossmeier in 1978 who was the love of his life for the last 47 years. Dale enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping around a good campfire, boating and playing horseshoes at Lake Powell, playing slow pitch softball and the city basketball league, attending his grand-children's various sporting events and spending time in his shop woodworking.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Marilyn and his much loved sister Marilyn Morrell. He is survived by his children: Greg Wirth (formerly married to Joelle Wirth and now engaged to Anita DeMiguel Lacy; Dan Wirth (formerly married to Ronda Wirth and is now with partner April McCrossen); Kelly (Wirth) Pinson and husband John; and Steve Wirth and wife Stacey. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Kevin Wirth, his wife Kathryn and their daughter Harper; Katelin Wirth; Chris Wirth; Cody Wirth; Merintha (Pinson) Sokolowski, her husband Mike and daughter Hadley; Jamie Pinson; Stephanie Pinson and husband Tyler Beck; and Justin Wirth.
Dale was wise, witty and wonderful!
Dale will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
