Daniel Broomfield, 83, of Flagstaff passed away on March 8, 2008. He was born in Carthage, Mississippi on November 17, 1924 to John Broomfield and Emily Williams. Daniel was a kind hearted man who loved hunting and the outdoors. He served the community as a member of both the Elk and Masonic Lodges.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elvira Broomfield. He is survived by his daughter Lora Smith of Flagstaff, two sisters: Eloise Moody of Flagstaff and Gloria (Carlos) Moore of Las Vegas, a brother, Lee (Nora) Willaims of Las Vegas, one grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., both at the Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Rt. 66, Flagstaff, Arizona.
