Daniel Sexton passed away on October 3, 2016. He is survived by his son, Nicholas Sexton and his daughter, Stephanie Stinski. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Ellie Sexton.

Dan, or "DJ" as some called him, was born in California on March 28, 1948. He spent a large part of his life there, and that was where he met his late wife. Dan and his family moved to Flagstaff, Arizona 21 years ago; he loved living in the clear air of the mountains. Dan was a quiet and private person with an innate kindness, incredible work ethic, and an unforgettable sense of humor. He was the Systems Engineer at Doney Park Water, and he was an active member of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Flagstaff, AZ, serving on the Parish Council.

Dan will be truly missed by those around him. A private service was held for him October 7, 2016
