David West McQuatters (Dave) died on November 8, 2007. Born on February, 6, 1939, he was a life long resident of Flagstaff. Dave was an outdoorsman. He was an avid snow skier, camper, and hunter. He was a life long member of the Flagstaff Elk's Lodge and the Flagstaff Sheriff's Posse.

Dave was hardworking, fun loving, and a dedicated father and grandfather. He had a strong sense of self and valued his family. He loved to socialize with his friends and was the resident expert on how to perfectly barbeque. In retirement, Dave spent as much time as possible with his grandchildren and working crossword puzzles. Dave is survived by his son Jeffrey David McQuatters; daughter, Terri Lynn Hayes; granddaughter, Amelia Ann Hayes; and grandson, David Michael Hayes.

A memorial of Dave's life will be held at the Flagstaff Elk's Lodge at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
