David Hand Mowen, 82, passed away on March 10, 2026, just a couple days after his birthday on March 8.

David lived a full life and was known for his strength, independence, and the way he carried himself. He loved the open road. Between riding his Harley and driving his trucks, he found joy simply being out doing what he enjoyed.

More than anything, he cared about his family. He created a lot of memories with the people around him—real memories that meant a lot to everyone. He was always someone you could count on.

Above all, David loved Jesus Christ. His faith was the foundation of his life and guided the way he lived and the way he cared for others. He believed deeply in the promises of Christ and trusted in the hope of eternal life. His love for the Lord gave him strength through life's challenges.

He'll be remembered for the way he handled life with resilience, confidence, and determination—the kind of person who didn't need to say much for people to understand who he was.

David will be deeply missed and always remembered.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001
