David H. Stone
David H. Stone of Flagstaff, AZ passed away on September 19, 2006. Dad was born January 25, 1948 in Hanford, CA. We are all very proud of his accomplishments including serving his country during the Vietnam War and achieving the Citizen of the Year Award in 2000. He married mom (Leona May Wilson) on December 22, 1966. December of this year would have been their 40th wedding anniversary.
Dad is survived by two beautiful sisters Donna Tyler, Dorinda Gelsi and one brother, Dennis Stone. Also surviving are sons David Stone; Dwayne Stone; extended daughters Michelle Stone, Nevada Stone and Katrina King; and grandchildren Dallas, Joslynn, Jessica and Hobbs.
A celebration of Papa's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society or local cancer institute of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Norvel Owens Mortuary.
