Debra "Debby" Ann Lockwood, 72, of Flagstaff, passed away on February 11, 2026.

Born on May 5, 1953, in Flagstaff to Edward Otis and Edith LaRene Miller Lockwood, Debby grew up an active and curious child who loved the outdoors. She treasured time spent with her parents and delighted in exploring the landscape in and around Flagstaff.

Debby graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1971. Throughout her life, she embraced a wide range of roles, working as an assistant in an engineering firm, serving as a general contractor, and later joining Edward Jones, where she completed her career.

She found joy in reading and cherished every moment with her grandchildren. Her garden and yard were her pride, especially her green lawn and her beloved apricot tree. Debby also loved traveling—especially when a beach was involved.  She was known for her amazing gift giving and her love of all things tiny.

Debby is survived by her children, Tera (Jaren) of Cottonwood, Nick (Corinne) of Bend, OR, and Cole of Bend, OR; and by her three grandchildren, Lexi, Andre, and Brianna. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ricky.

A family‑only memorial service will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Nature Conservancy.
