Demecio Villas of Flagstaff joined his beloved wife Eloisa in Heaven on Monday August 10, 2009. Demecio was born in San Juan, New Mexico on November 16, 1928 to Daniel and Francisca Villas.

Demecio is survived by his 9 children, Dorothy Jiron (Leroy) of Flagstaff; Helen Padilla of Ribera, New Mexico; Raymond Villas (Sherry) of Cottonwood; Michael Villas (Josie) of Bremerton Washington; Leonard Villas (Debbie) of Flagstaff; Olivia Villas of Flagstaff; Barbara Torrez of Flagstaff; Gilbert Villas of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; Jimmy Villas of Flagstaff; three sisters, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be on Thursday August 13, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Holy Rosary will be on Friday August 14, at 10:00 AM and Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his wife Eloisa who preceded him in death.
