Dennis F. Jerumbo, 57, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Flagstaff Medical Center.
Mr. Jerumbo was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Manistee, Mich. He grew up in Phoenix and lived in Flagstaff for more than 19 years. He loved Jesus, his family, animals, Special Olympics, boating and arts and crafts. He was a very special man who brought much love and laughter to the lives of his family -- especially his niece and nephew who he loved so much. He taught everybody who knew him the meaning of strength, courage and compassion. His family will miss him very much.
Mr. Jerumbo is survived by brothers Ron Jerumbo of Flagstaff and Patrick Janik of Apache Junction; sister Suzie Jerumbo; nephew and nieces; and stepfather Arnold Janik.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Jerumbo and his mother Marion Janik.
Visitation will be today, 4 to 6 p.m., at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He will be interred next to his mother in Camp Verde. Condolences may be sent to www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
