Dennis Kingsbury was born April 26 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated in 1972 with a Bachelors Degree in Forestry, from Iowa State University. He moved to Dolores, Colo. In 1974 to work for Southwest Forest Industries. On March 20, 1976 he married Dixie Westfall and was transferred to Springerville, AZ and then to Flagstaff, AZ where he worked as procurement specialist with Southwest and Stone Forest Industries, up until 1999. He and his family moved to Medford, Oregon in 1999 and he worked for U.S. Forest Industries, until 2002. Northern Arizona was home for him and his family, he loved his work and moved back to Flagstaff in 2005, he did some consulting work for High Desert Investment Co, for a short time. Dennis was a very loving father and husband, he was a true friend to everyone. He had a heart of gold, and would help out anyone in need with his true spirit of generosity and kindness. He was father to more than his own children and they loved him very much. He loved sports and the great outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy Kingsbury of Flagstaff, AZ ., currently stationed in Nuristan, Afghanistan with the National Guard, Jenica Davis and husband Jake, Tamara Robinson and husband Casey and Trenton Kingsbury all of Flagstaff, AZ, his parents, Ralph and Marlys Kingsbury of Fort Dodge, Iowa, his sisters, Diane Richardson of Lena, Illinois, Connie Hay of Burlington, Iowa and Carol Eastwood of Jeffers, Minnesota. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tyler and Ryleigh Davis of Flagstaff.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona. Interment will be in the family plot in Fort Dodge, Iowa
