Born in Tuba City, Arizona, Deric was the second of six children of Bob & Marie Singer. He grew up most of his life in Page, Arizona. As a kid he loved playing with his brothers, sisters, and cousins and was always very close to his family. He had a fantastic sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and loved to make everyone around laugh along with him. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and made sure everyone remembered the good times they had.
Deric was also very fond of drawing and enjoyed all different kinds of music. Deric loved good food, especially a favorite bacon potato soup.
He is survived by Sandra Lasiter and his daughter Kayleigh (whom he affectionately called "K-Bear"); his mother and father; his brothers and sisters, Darrell, Valerie, Lavon, Xylenia, and Leighton; and his grandparents Luna and Phillip Singer, Sr. from Kayenta, Arizona and Louise and Hugo Boone from Cameron, Arizona.
A special viewing will be held at 9:30 AM followed immediately by the Funeral Services to be held at the Cameron LDS Branch at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in Cameron, Arizona. Interment will be at Tappen Springs/Bighorse family plot following the services.
