Diana Lee Peck, 69, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at her home in Holbrook. Services were held March 8th at the Holbrook Elks Lodge, and she was laid to rest in the Holbrook Cemetery.

A lifelong Holbrook resident, she was born to Bill and Edna Fischer on July 15, 1941. She attended Holbrook schools and for many years operated Fischer's Garage and Fischer's Towing with her husband, Jim. She joined the Elks lady auxiliary, becoming President, and later became the first woman admitted to full membership at the Holbrook lodge. She remained a member of Elks B.P.O.E. #2450 until her death.

She enjoyed collecting, gardening, and sewing, especially quilting, and was a long time member of the Dusty Desert Quilt Guild.

She is survived by sons Steve Peck (Betty) of Holbrook, Jon Peck (Sharri) of Appling, GA, daughter Devy Kuhse (Pat) of Joseph City, and brother George Fischer (Sandy) of Black Canyon City. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws as well as 4 beloved cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Peck of Holbrook, and brothers Bill Jr. and Howard Fischer, both of Holbrook.
