Donna Marie McQuain, 55, of Flagstaff passed away on July 3, 2009. She was born July 14, 1953 to Willis and Doris McQuain in Omaha, Nebraska. Donna loved the outdoors, and enjoyed the sailing and motorcycles. She enjoyed dogs and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Donna was a professor of clinical nursing at NAU. She had strong Christian faith which was evidenced in both her personal and professional life and through her service as a missionary in Alaska and Africa.

Donna is survived by her parents, her brothers, Terry (Christine) of San Antonio, TX, Danny (Kathleen) of Peoria, AZ and Larry (Andrea) of Fort Collins, CO and by six nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Flagstaff Christian Fellowship. A scholarship fund has been set up in her name, and donations may be made to: NAU Foundation, Donna McQuain Scholarship Fund, Northern Arizona University, PO Box 4094, Flagstaff, AZ 86011, in lieu of flowers.
