Doris Boston, 93, passed quietly in to the Lord's arms at home on April 10, 2026 while under hospice and the unwavering caretaking of David and Christine Boston.

Doris was born in Perkins, Oklahoma to Otis and Ila Warren. Later, she moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where she met and married Donald Boston. Together they raised a family of five children. She and Don were part to the community in Page, Arizona for 49 years where she worked as a bookkeeper before retiring. Doris and Don purchased and ran the True Value and later Ace Hardware store with their sons for many years.

Doris was a woman of faith who loved to cook and garden. There was never a time that she would miss a party or celebration where everyone would get her hugs and full attention. Doris fiercely loved and guided her family and friends throughout her life. She will be profoundly missed by all who loved her.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband Don Boston, daughter, Diann Fornero, parents, Otis and Ila Warren, brother, Leland Warren and granddaughters, Tanya Macias, Hannah Elizabeth and Jacob Douglas Jelliff, as well as many beloved family and friends.  There was certainly a celebration in heaven on her arrival.  Doris is survived by sister, Alice Winters, brother, Max Warren (both from Guthrie, Oklahoma), sons; Daniel (Judy) Boston, David (Christina) Boston, Douglas (Jody) Boston and daughter, Donna (Mark) Price as well as eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren not to mention all the friends she adopted into her family.

A private family graveside ceremony will be held on May 29, 2026. Doris will be buried in Flagstaff, Arizona along side her husband of 62 years.
