It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Edward C. Rutter, Jr. on October 16, 2019. Ed was born to Edward and Edythe Rutter in St. Albans, NY on December 1, 1946. Ed had a 34-year career with the United States Postal Service and retired in 2001 as a Manager of Customer Service. Following retirement, it was his passion to volunteer his time and energy and often remarked, "I don't know how I ever had time to work."  He had a great love for God, his family, and being outdoors.

Ed is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joy, and his six daughters: Shari Westling, Traci Rosselet (Bob), Kari Barker (Rob), Kayla Pettinger (Scott), Ellie Rutter, and Bethany Ingram (Ryan). He has five grandchildren: JT, Garrett, Jordan, Derek, and Ryan. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Rutter (Tammy) and two nephews, and sister, Karen Rutter-Fagan, and two nieces.  He is predeceased by his parents.
