After a long battle with cancer Eileen Girvin passed away on 6-8-2015
in the comfort of her home. In 1962 Eileen moved to Flagstaff with her parents Tom and Jean Scanlan, along with brothers Tom, Tim,and sister Colleen . They lived at the gas turbine station located near Luepp. She graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1968, then went
back to school at age 50 to acquire her college degree. She retired from Nestle Purina.

Eileen and her husband John enjoyed extensive traveling and local camp outs in their 5th wheel trailer. One of her biggest joys was being with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband John Girvin, father Tom Scanlan, brothers;Tim (Betty) Scanlan, Tom (Rose) Scanlan, sister; Colleen (Roger) Pena,her children; Susan (Bret) McKee, Christina Scanlan, Pamela (Victor)Carrera, step children; Chad (Kelli) Girvin, Travis (Salyna) Girvin, BrandyGirvin, Steve (Kelly) Girvin, John (Debbi) Girvin, 21 grandchildren,great grand children and countless friends. She will be deeply missed.
