Elaine E. Brown, age 76 of Flagstaff Arizona, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on February 11, 2014 at her home with family by her side.

Elaine was born June 16, 1937 in Longview, Washington to Hugo and Florence Johnson. In her early years she worked as a hairdresser, a hostess and waitress. From 1972 to 1982 Elaine, along with her husband Craig owned and operated Browns Jewelry Store. She then worked at W.L. Gore, where she later retired. She was a lifetime member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and WIBC bowling member. She enjoyed gardening and had a real passion for cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Craig Brown, son Kim (Nancy) Leonard of Sonora, Ca., daughters Eunice Steves of Manteca, Ca, Bridgette Gee of Manteca, Ca, Brenda (Doug) Kinghorn of Pinetop, Az. and Cindy Clark of Escalon, Ca, brother George (Sybil) Johnson of Elkton, Or., sister Judy Johnson of Roseburg, Or. And sister-in-law Lois Johnson of Puyallup, Wa. 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Hugo Johnson and Florence Gehrig, her brother Kenny Johnson, her sister Jackie Sutton and son Bryan Gee.
