Elizabeth Mae (Peters) Williamson

Elizabeth "Beth" Williamson (67), passed away peacefully on June 18, 2010 in Flagstaff, Az, after a long battle with COPD. Beth was born to the late Otto and Myrta Peters on June 21, 1942, in Oregon City, OR. She was raised in Eureka, CA, and attended Eureka Sr. High School and Humboldt State College. She received a Teaching Degree from San Jose State College. Her places of residence during her adult life included Santa Cruz, CA, Redding, CA, Great Falls, MT and Flagstaff, AZ.

Beth was kind-hearted and easy- going. She had way of catching you off guard with her keen sense of humor. One of her favorite pastimes was dancing and singing to Elvis.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the loving care and attention given to Beth by The Pines, Flagstaff Medical Center, The Peaks and Hospice.

Beth was the widow of disabled Vietnam veteran, Lee Williamson. She is survived by her son, Raphael (Amy), and grandchildren, Jakob, John and Jolie, of Hanover, NH; her devoted sister, Kathy Peterson of Flagstaff; nephew, Lance Peterson (Alesha) and their children, Kayla, Hailey and Hannah of Flagstaff; niece, Bethany McElroy (Eric) and their children, Emily and Connor McElroy, of Beaverton, OR.
