Obituary

Ella Mae was born in Findlay Ohio on February 25, 1921. She went to be with the lord on
October 29, 2007.

Ella Mae was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family and friends. She moved to
Arizona in 1952 and to Flagstaff in 1956. She was actively involved in her community. She volunteered at Flagstaff Medical Center for over 30 years, where she ran the gift shop and helped raise money for many pieces of medical equipment. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the American Legion and the VFW. When her husband Ross retired, they spent many winters fishing and enjoying the warm weather at Pierce's Ferry, Katherine's Landing and Bullhead City. She enjoyed fishing, doing word search puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by her sons Don Walters (Nikki), Las Vegas, Richard Walters (Jackie), Flagstaff, sisters, Helen Vanderhorst, Clara Edwards, Ohio, Esther Walton, Virginia, and brother Avery Temple, California, grandchildren, Sherri Hofner (Chuck), Flagstaff, Richard Walters (Annie), Flagstaff, great grandchildren Travis Walters and Tyler Walters, Flagstaff, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a wonderful, strong woman who will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, on Monday,
November 5, 2007. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00, services will be at 10:00 and graveside will follow at Citizens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Ella Mae's name to Northland Hospice P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, Arizona 86002.
