Ema R. Espinosa, 81, of Kansas formally of Winslow passed away July 20, 2008. She was the wife of Frederick B. Espinosa whom is deceased, she was the daughter of Pedro Rivas and Soledad Casteneda Rivas also deceased.

She was survived by her children Katherine Espinosa Anderson and her son-in-law William E. Anderson, of Levenworth, Kansas, Yolanda Espinosa, of Winslow, Fredrick Espinosa of Kansas City, Kansas. Ema has 6 brothers and 4 sisters whom live in California and Arizona, and 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Ema was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two of her children, Herlinda Hinojos, and Ermelinda Espinosa.

She was a member of the American legion of Winslow, when she lived there and a Cub Scout leader. Her hobbies were attending to her yard and her plants, and enjoyed being with her friends, which she had a lot of them she used to help cook in the cafeteria at St. Joseph school, with all of her very close friends she was a resident of Winslow since 1946.

Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Friday July 25th with Funeral Mass following at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Burial will conclude services at Desert View Cemetery.
