Esther Marie Felix passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on August 5, 1932, in Clearmont, Wyoming, and raised in Sheridan Wyoming, Esther made her home in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she built a life centered on love, family, and care for others. In addition to raising her own children, Esther dedicated her life to caring for generations of children in the community, touching countless lives with her kindness and warmth.

She will be remembered for her unwavering goodness, compassionate heart, and deep devotion to her family.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Vargas and Josephine Cordova; her brother, Jimmy; sister, Elizabeth (Lizzy); her son, Don Felix; and her grandson, James Felix.

She is survived by her children—Ron Felix, Connie Felix and Lonnie Felix; her grandchildren—Madelyn, Jacob and Lorraine; and her siblings— Mary, Petra, Jenny (Bugs), and Ralph.

A service honoring Esther's life will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. Interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S San Francisco Street, Flagstaff.

Esther's legacy of love and care will live on in all who knew and loved her.
