Ethel M. Grenoble, 85, died Sunday August 29, 2010 at Flagstaff Medical Center.

Ethel was born on August 19, 1925 in Centre County PA to Charles and Tillie Snyder. She moved to Flagstaff in the late 1960'2 where she was employed as an Accountant Assistant in the Comptroller's office of Northern Arizona University for many years. She retired from NAU on 1990.

Ethel was known for her love and compassion for animals, especially cats. She often took in homeless cats giving them a loving home.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters, and 1 niece. She is survived by 3 nephews, Francis Stewart of El Paso, Texas; Ross Stewart II of Dallas, TX; Ronald Stewart of Lemoyne, PA; and 1 niece, Dorothy Turner of Port Matilda, PA as well as many friends.

At Ethel's requests there will not be any services. In her memory donations may be made the 2nf Chance Animal Shelter, 11665 N. Hwy 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004.
