Ethel Billings Rumery of Flagstaff passed away peacefully March 21, 2007 at The Peaks. She had recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

She was born in Omaha Nebraska on February 4, 1907. She Lived in Omaha until her move to Flagstaff in 2002. She was employed by Northwestern Bell as a long distance operator during the 1940's and 50's. She was a long time member of the Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Leanne) of Flagstaff; daughter-in-law, Julia Rutherford Rumery, Minden, Nebraska; grandchildren, David, Flagstaff; Jon Kevin, Lakewood, Colorado; Paul, Chandler, Arizona; Gayle Luton (David), Grand Island, Nebraska; Jennifer Newbold (Grant), Minden, Nebraska; and six great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ray Rumery, her son Robert E. Rumery and her grandson, Craig Brian Rumery.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 26, 1:30 p.m. at The Peaks. Internment will be in Citizens' Cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
