Gene Sanford, 73, of Williams, Arizona, climbed his last mountain and reached the summit where he crossed over in to heaven on December 28, 2007. He was born in Calhoun, Louisiana, December 26, 1934. He was a very successful food industry executive. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1974 to start his own business, Gene Sanford & Associates. He and his first wife built their dream retirement home, "Slice O Heaven Ranch",in Williams, AZ where they moved to in (1995) He is survived by his wife Wanda, son Michael Sanford, daughter Lisa Commission, Grandchildren: Jacob, Jenna, Stephen, Robert and Kevin Eugene, Greatchildren: Caleb and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his first wife Beverly (2001) and their eldest son Stephen (1975). Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 2nd at Living Streams Church, 7000 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, Az.
