Faye Ann (Brown) Davis, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 23, 2026 at the age of 88.

Faye was born on August 12, 1937, in East Chicago, Indiana, and grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After graduating from high school she moved to Washington DC, where she worked as a secretary for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, before marrying the love of her life, Millard Davis, and beginning their life together in Southern California.

Together, Faye and Millard raised six children, including foster children, creating a home centered on love, faith, hard work, and family. During those years, Faye also worked at an elementary school, where her caring nature and dedication touched many lives.

In 1977, the family moved to Chino Valley, Arizona where Faye became a cherished member of the community. She worked in the nursing administration office at Yavapai Regional Medical Center until her retirement in 2001. Faye was a devoted member at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church. She volunteered in religious education and sang in the choir. Her kindness, faith, and willingness to serve were deeply appreciated by all who knew her.

When her husband became ill, she became his primary caregiver until his death in 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Millard, daughters Brenda and Sue, her parents and her only sibling, Robert Brown.

In 2021, Faye moved into a senior residential community in Flagstaff, Arizona where she resided until her death.

Faye is survived by her children: Brian Davis (Donna), Marc Davis, Joan Norman, Lori Scandura (Phil) and Devi Anderson (Larry). She also leaves behind seventeen beloved grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren whose lives were enriched by her love and guidance.

Faye will be remembered for her devotion to family, her steadfast faith, her warm heart, and the countless ways she cared for those around her. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A rosary will be held an 10:30am on Monday, June 8, 2026 immediately followed by a Catholic mass and reception at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church, 2062 Highway 89 in Chino Valley, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church.
